Founder's Bio

Dr. Tao Jing is a highly accomplished IC design expert and Silicon Valley executive with over 25 years of experience in the industry.

My Story

Dr. Tao Jing is an accomplished professional with a strong academic background and extensive experience in the technology industry. He earned his PhD from UC Berkeley and began his career as a postdoctoral fellow at Lawrence National Labs, where he honed his research skills.

 

Later, Dr. Jing joined Lockheed Martin, a renowned aerospace and defense company, where he made significant contributions as a valued team member. His expertise and dedication led him to assume the role of Design Engineering Director at ICS, a leading technology company. During his tenure, Dr. Jing spearheaded the development of numerous cutting-edge chips and clock chip products, establishing a reputation for excellence and innovation.

 

When ICS was acquired by IDT, Dr. Jing transitioned into the role of executive director of the clock chip department, overseeing a large R&D team comprising more than 100 talented professionals. Under his leadership, the clock chip department flourished, capturing an impressive 80% global market share. Dr. Jing's strategic decision-making abilities were instrumental in evaluating and acquiring new technologies, making significant contributions to the growth of IDT in the computational and consumer electronics markets. Today, IDT stands as the world's leading provider of clock chips, thanks in part to Dr. Jing's visionary leadership.

 

Dr. Jing's contributions extend beyond industry achievements. He is a prolific inventor, holding 11 US patents and over 20 Chinese patents, which stand as a testament to his technical prowess and innovative mindset. Additionally, Dr. Jing's research findings have been shared through over 20 academic papers, contributing to the scientific community's knowledge and understanding.
